Sony Invests Another 1 billion USD in Epic Games

Family-owned holding and investment company behind Lego Group, have invested 1 billion USD apiece in Fortnite creator Epic Games. The deal will help Epic to enhance its push into the metaverse- the world of digital play and support its continued growth, the company said in its press release.  Sony previously invested $250 million in Epic for a minority stake. American Airlines First Quarter Expectations are down

American Airlines Group estimates first-quarter revenue to be down 16% compared with the first quarter in 2019, an improvement on its recent guidance of approximately 17% despite consumer demand being affected by inflationary pressures. The airline said that capacity compared with the first quarter of 2019 was down 10.7%, flying 59.5 billion total seat miles.

Apple could announce a huge stock buyback

Technical giant is probably going to announce a new 80 to 90 billion USD stock buyback plan and raise dividends by 5% to 10%.[1] Apple spent roughly $81 billion in the last 12 months on buying back its shares. The analyst also reflected on the recent media report that Apple is working on subscription offerings for its hardware products.

Renault plans separate listing for EV assets

Renault wants to create a separate division for its electric (EV) assets could eventually lead to a separate listing. Engines activity could interest Nissan or long-term investors. Renault was “very confident” to deliver on its turnaround plan as it was financed despite the impact of the suspension of the Russian asset.
